I'VE CREATED A VOX-POP!

Welcome back again everyone !!! Today I will talk about podcasts.

My First Podcast Trial

In educational technology course, our new task was creating a podcast. Our teacher gave us 4 options and want us to choose one for this homework. The options was creating a vox-pop, recording 60-second podcast to introduce an idea, creating a chant or a song and the last one was creating a sound rich story. All of the choices sound very fun but I chose the first one creating a vox-pop.

Firstly I picked my central question for a vox-pop -“Can you describe yourself in three words?”- than I ask for a voice mail from my friends. I really enjoyed doing this assignment.

Benefits Of Podcasting in Language Learning

I would give a similar task to my learners in the future because podcasts can provide abundent benefit to them. For example learners can share their self-created podcasts via internet, hence podcasting can be utilized effectively to increase learner autonomy in language learning. Also there are a number of online and offline easily accessible podcasts that are especially produced for language learning. Learners can watch out to their pronunciation and can learn many phrases by podcasts.
