Internet-based Projects

Hola! Welcome, after a tough and intense midterm exam week I am back.

Firstly, I will start with explaining my homework just like every other week. And then I will talk about internet-based projects and how these projects can develop 21st century learning skills.

This week our task was creating a wall on Padlet after choosing a problem from the given ones that we suffer at the present day. It was a group work so I prepared this project with my two other friends Şevval and Meryem please check their blogs too. We made a Kwl Chart on Padlet and chose our problem "Bullying at School". After that we listed what we already know, what we want to know and lastly what we learned about the issue which we chose.

About Using Padlet

It was really easy to share my project on padlet. Especially I belive that while making a group project it would be very handy because anyone can come and share their ideas with their name. Also being able customize my wall on my own taste was fun too.

How Would a Project Help Improving of 21st Century Learning Skills?

21st century learning skills one of the main purposes is preparing students to this highly competitive world and projects can be greatly helpful for this aim. Working as a group around a project improves students' collaboration skill which is one of the main skills that is required in today's world. Moreover, projects like we made this week promote learners to critically think on a subject and become more computer literate by making researches through internet.
